  • What are the opening times of the event?

    Thursday 2nd – Saturday 4th August: 09.30 – 18.30

    Sunday 5th August: 09.30 – 17.30

  • What time should I arrive?

    We advise people to arrive before the doors open at 09:30 to give you time to avoid traffic, park and make your way to the entrance. We will have a dedicated area at the front of the show if you arrive earlier, open from 08.30, where you can purchase refreshments and use the toilet facilities.

  • What time do the car parks open?

    All car parks will be open from 07:30. Please ensure you follow AA event signage and traffic management staff on your way into the show to be directed to the car parking sites.

  • Are there any age restrictions to attend BBC Countryfile Live?

    Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a full paying adult. If you have bought a concession ticket, proof of ID may be required. Children 4 and under will not require a ticket but the child will need to sit on the adult's lap during the theatre shows.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Yes, although we ask that you remain as considerate as possible to your fellow visitors who may not love your dog as much as you, and that you keep them under control. Please ensure you bring bags to dispose of your dog’s waste.  Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. A maximum of two dogs per person is allowed. Guide assistance and support dogs are welcome at the event.

  • How do I get to Blenheim Palace?

  • Can I have a tour of Blenheim Palace?

    Visitors to Countryfile Live can save 50% on admission to the Palace, Park and Gardens and receive a free annual pass if you agree to donate your entrance fee to the Blenheim Palace Heritage Foundation Charity (Registered charity number 1166164). To claim the discount and donate your admission, simply show your Countryfile Live ticket to a member of staff at the Blenheim Palace entrance on the day. This offer is only valid during the Countryfile Live event and cannot be combined with any other offer. The free Annual Pass offer is not applicable unless upon entry the admission fee has been agreed by the visitor to be treated as a donation.

  • Is there parking?

    Yes. You may pre book your car parking ticket whilst booking your entrance ticket. Pre booked car parking is £5 per car. Car parking on the day is £5 per car. We advise that you book in advance to ensure a swift entry to the show. You will be posted a car parking sticker for your windscreen that will ensure you are waved through by our traffic management team.

  • Are there cash points available on site?

    There will be a number of cash points positioned around the event site. They will be clearly signposted with event signage and marked in the event guide.

  • Do you have baby changing facilities and a children’s crèche?

    There will be a number of baby changing facilities positioned around the event site including a dedicated family lounge for feeding mothers. All will be clearly signposted with event signage and marked in the event guide. There will not be a dedicated children's crèche onsite. Please read our Welfare Statement for a full overview of our child provisions.

  • Toilet facilities

    There will be a number of toilet facilities positioned around the event site. All will be clearly sign posted with event signage and marked in the event guide. We will also have accessible toilet facilities.

  • How will animals be cared for at the show?

    The welfare of all the animals taking part in the show is of utmost importance, with all out management policies strictly adhering to the regulations outlined in the Animal Welfare Act (2006). This includes having at least two qualified vets (Large Animal and Equine) on call/on site at all times. For further detail please read our full Welfare Statement.

  • Will all the presenters attend the event throughout all four days?

    The presenters' appearances will be confirmed close to the time. Sign up to our newsletter for more information.

  • Is there an official programme or timetable?

    Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear when event timetables are announced, including The Countryfile Theatre. Full event-finding information will also be available on the show map, which can be picked up at the event and is included within your ticket price or accessed by clicking here. You may also wish to purchase one of the Countryfile Live Show Guides, which can be pre purchased for £6 via the ticketing site and collected at the event. These will go on sale with tickets.

  • Is private/corporate hospitality available?

  • What are the activities for children?

    Countryfile Live is very much a family focused event that will present a wide range of family-friendly activities. The full programme of activities will be announced in the coming months but activities already confirmed can be viewed here.

  • What food and beverage facilities do you have available?

    There will be lots of food and drink brands, with vendors and producers present at the event as well as a number of bars, food vans and outlets!

  • Lost property

    There will be a manned lost property point onsite at the event information points. Ask staff or consult the official event programme for its location.

  • Shopping facilities

    Countryfile Live will present hundreds of household brands and independent retailers from outdoor clothing and accessories, to food, drink and unique gift ideas. The full exhibitor list will be posted on the event website in the coming months. Sign up to our newsletter for updates.

  • What happens if it rains?

    Unless there is a health & safety risk to our visitors, Countryfile Live will continue if it rains. There will be ample cover made available but please come dressed for the weather!

  • What happens if the event is cancelled?

    In the unlikely situation the whole event is cancelled (as a result of extremely bad weather or other events outside of the control of the Promoter, SME London Ltd.) the event website will be updated and all visitors will be notified via email. A full event ticket refund will be issued.

    If the day cancelled is the one for which you have purchased a ticket, where possible you will be given the option to attend on an alternative day, otherwise you will be issued a full refund.

  • Is there Wifi?

    Countryfile Live is an outdoor event and therefore Wi-Fi will not be available to visitors. There is however, 3G and 4G coverage subject to individual network providers.

  • Do you have a list of recommended accommodation?

    A list of recommended accommodation will be made available in the coming months. Sign up to our newsletter for updates.

  • Is there a taxi drop off point at the event?

    Yes there will be a taxi drop point available which will be clearly signposted at the event. Please ensure you follow AA event route signage on arrival.

  • Are there shuttle buses available from the car park?

    There will be a shuttle bus service for the car park furthest from the show. Other car parks are within walking distance. If you are a blue badge holder, please follow signs for the blue badge car park and display your badge in you car windscreen.

  • Will there be bicycle parking at the event?

    Yes, there will be security fences at both entrances for you to lock your bike to. Please note bicycles are left at owner’s risk.

  • Can I camp at the event?

    Yes. Plans for camping at the event are underway. More information will be available shortly. Sign up to our newsletter for updates.

  • Do you have a site map?

    The site map will be posted on the event website in the coming months as well as made available to purchase at the show. Details coming soon. There will also be a number of ‘You Are Here’ map signs around the event site.

  • Can I bring a picnic to the event?

    Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your picnic to Countryfile Live, there will be plenty of spots for you to enjoy it.

  • Are there any items prohibited from bringing into the event?

    You are not permitted to enter the event with knives or alcohol. Should you bring any prohibited items, they will be confiscated by security upon entry. There will be bag searches taking place.

  • Will the programme be different each day?

    The programme is designed to be the same each day although presenter appearances will vary according to attraction timetables.

  • Personal Assistant Information

    We offer a free ticket for a personal assistant accompanying a ticket holder with access requirements.

    Guide assistance and support dogs are very welcome at the event. To discuss your personal requirements please feel free to contact us in advance of your visit on +44 (0) 203 953 1482 or  Monday-Friday, between 9am and 5pm GMT.

  • Sign Language at BBC Countryfile Live

    The key features will have specific sessions that will be signed in British Sign Language (BSL) each day. Details on these sessions will go live when the programme is announced in the coming months. They will also be denoted on event signage and show guides. Sign up to our newsletter for updates.

  • Venue Access Information

    Blenheim Palace and its parks and gardens are all fully accessible; however, because this is natural site with uneven ground, a variety of ground surfaces, slopes and a large event area, we strongly recommend that an able-bodied personal assistant accompany those who require assistance.  The following link details Blenheim Palace’s Accessibility Statement.

  • Access information point and lounge

    We have set up a dedicated access information point and lounge for any of our ticket holders requiring the use of this space. Please ask a member of staff on the day who can give you directions to this central event area. We will be in touch closer to the event with full details of access provisions in preparation for your visit.

  • See Tickets dedicated access phone line

    See Tickets do not operate a dedicated phone line for accessibility bookings, each operator is fully trained to take access calls via the main booking line. This gives the customer a far greater chance of speaking directly to an operator immediately. Should the operator not be able to answer a specific question the query can be swiftly escalated through to the contact centre supervisor.

  • Can I hire a mobility scooter or wheelchair for the day of my visit?

    Countryfile Live is situated in the picturesque grounds of Blenheim Palace. Due to the rural setting and the uneven surfaces which are spread throughout the grounds we have developed a partnership with Event Mobility in order for visitors to be able to hire a range of mobility equipment such as powered scooters or manual wheelchairs.

    Event Mobility will be located in the accessible carpark situated near the main entrance.

  • Booking Event Access equipment for the show

    Event Mobility Charitable Incorporated Organisation will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of elderly or mobility impaired visitors at the show.

    To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair you can book online at, print out an advance booking form from the website or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you.  The charity asks £25 for an electric scooter and £10 for a manual wheelchair.

    Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.

  • Do you have accessible parking available?

    There will be accessible parking for visitors with accessible needs. Please ensure that you bring your Blue Badge to the event and show it to a steward upon arrival. Visitors should ensure that they display their blue badge and vehicle pass in their vehicle once parked.

    If you are not a Blue Badge holder please follow blue badge signage, which will take you to the car park closest to the accessible parking.

  • What time should I arrive?

    We would recommend arriving early so that you can locate the accessible parking before the event gets too busy. Car parks will open at 07:30 and gates will open at 09:30, toilet and catering facilities will be available in all car parks.

  • What is the terrain like at Blenheim Palace?

    Blenheim Palace is a picturesque stately home situated near the market town of Woodstock in Oxfordshire. Dating back over 200 years the grounds and gardens of Blenheim Palace are accessible. Much of the Countryfile Live show is located on grassed areas which can be a little uneven. Some parts of the show area have steep inclines and whilst we have done as much as possible to make the show accessible we advise that you take care when visiting. Countryfile Live is an outdoor show and so if the ground is wet this might make pushing a wheelchair a little more difficult. We have worked with the venue to make the event as accessible as possible. If you feel that you might prefer some assistance in accessing the grounds, you should consider bringing someone else with you. We can provide free entry to an individual who is assisting you during your visit.

  • How do I organise the loan of a mobility scooter or manual wheelchair?

    If you would like to book a mobility scooter or wheelchair to support you in accessing the show please visit the Event Mobility website As Event Mobility is a registered charity they charge £25.00 for the loan of a mobility scooter and £10 for the loan of a manual wheelchair. A range of different mobility scooters and wheelchairs are available to suit your individual requirements.

  • Can I bring my own Mobility Scooter or wheelchair?

    Visitors are welcome to bring their own mobility equipment to the show. We ask that you set the speed of any mobility equipment to no more than walking pace and that due to the large number of people attending you take extra care.

    Our stewards and show staff will not be able to help lift any heavy mobility equipment in or out of a vehicle.

  • Will you have accessible toilet facilities available?

    Toilet facilities will be available throughout the show area. We have several facilities available for people with accessibility requirements. The accessible toilet facilities will be located throughout the venue. Please refer to the map for clarification or speak to any member of our team whilst you are visiting the event.

  • Do you have an access lounge?

    An access lounge will be available on site for those wishing to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the show. Our access lounge is a quiet space where you can sit down and take a break. To view the accessibility map, please click here.

  • Can I bring an assistance or support dog to the event?

  • Is seating available?

  • How do I access the Countryfile Theatre?

    The Countryfile Theatre is located at the top of the event site opposite the Equine Arena. Please be aware that the pathway leading to the theatre is on a steep gradient and an uneven surface. In order to assist with accessibility we have installed some track matting but this may still require caution for those with mobility impairments.

  • Will there be a charging point for electric wheelchairs?

    Yes, there will be a charging point in the access lounge but ask that you bring your own specific charger.

  • Can I buy tickets on the gate?

    Yes, although they are more expensive and will be subject to availability. We would recommend buying your tickets in advance to take advantage of the discounted pre-booking rate as well as giving you time to properly plan your day.  For full ticket pricing click here.

  • Is there a Countryfile Live theatre show this year?

    There will be a new theatre format this year, which will give visitors the opportunity to see their favourite Countryfile presenters.

    Details will be announced in the coming months.

  • I have lost my ticket who do I contact?

    Please contact See Tickets on 0844 209 7324* or Eventim 0844 249 1000 who will be able to organise replacement tickets to be picked up from the onsite box office. Photo identification will be required. There will be no additional charge for replacement tickets, but the card holder will be required to collect at the Box Office on the day with the card they used to purchase the tickets.

  • I am buying a ticket as a present and won’t be attending, is this OK?

    Yes. However, if the person you are giving the tickets to is picking them up at the event, we require a letter of authorisation from the cardholder and the name of the third party collecting the tickets.

  • When booking a car park, why can I only request my tickets to be posted to me?

    The event entrances and car parking management plan has put in measures that require physical car parking stickers to be displayed in your car windscreen on arrival to the show. Car parking tickets cannot be purchased 5 days before the show as the only ticket options will be Print at Home or Collect at Box Office to avoid tickets not being delivered in time.

  • When posted, how will I receive my tickets?

    Tickets will start to be sent via standard post (or registered post if requested) to the address you provide at time of booking. Tickets will be dispatched from early June 2018 onwards and immediately following your order should you book after June.

  • What if my tickets do not arrive?

    Please contact See Tickets on 0844 209 7324* or Eventim 0844 249 1000 if your tickets do not arrive and it is less than 5 days before the event. Please quote the unique transaction number supplied to you at time of booking. This will also be found on your email confirmation. There will be no additional charge for replacement tickets.

  • I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?

    Tickets are non-refundable in this circumstance.

  • How can I change my email address if it is different from that I used to purchase my tickets?
